2007 Sasquatch! Music Festival
May 26 and 27, 2007
The Gorge, Washington
Carbon Harmony service offset 125% of the carbon dioxide emitted during the 2 day event in George, Washington. By offsetting more carbon dioxide (CO2) than the festival created, the result is a net reduction in the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere which provides a positive effect on our climate.
The Sasquatch Festival wanted to raise the bar on carbon neutrality and compensated for all direct and indirect carbon emissions created from this event. Offsets were purchased to compensate for the Greenhouse Gases created by:
- All Sasquatch Attendees fuel consumption
- All energy used at the Gorge Saturday and Sunday
- All artists fuel consumption
- All staff vehicles and delivery trucks fuel consumption
The show featured performances by Bjork, The Beastie Boys, Arcade Fire, Manu Chao, Interpol, Spoon, Dandy Warhols, Neko Case, M.I.A, Ozomatli, and many more great acts.
